Welcoming in the New Year

I woke up this morning to a fresh fallen snow. Fluffy blankets cover our back field and I can’t even see the mountains or the horizon. It’s like the whole world has been magically erased and full of possibilities.

Like Mother Nature has just offered me an empty canvas, to start all over and paint what I want.

With the start of 2018, we all have the same. (Only how fortunate for you, your fresh start might not also include sub-zero temperatures!)

I don’t know about you, but for me – last year was a rough one. So I’m enjoying this blank slate we’ve just been given. And I’m ready to make the most of this fresh start of a new year.

Though today, instead of write my message – I decided to speak it. A bit of a bold move for me. But anyway, I hope you’ll take a moment to listen and know – I’m so very grateful for each and every one of you out there, reading and listening.  You give ME hope.

Finally, I want to thank you for being a part of our growing yoga community through Ashtanga Dispatch – this past year and in all the years you’ve been with us. Ashtanga Dispatch wouldn’t be if not for you.
And so on behalf of Meghan, Indie and Moose – from our family to yours –  we all wish you all a joyful and hopeful 2018.

  1. Hi Peg!

Thanks for all the work you put into this site and the podcasts. I really loved the recent podcast with Eddie.

Quick question that does not have to do with ashtanga…The little dog in the above pictures, is that a Cattle Dog? Maybe a mix? OMG is it cute!!!!
