Easter Ashtanga Retreat with Scott Johnson and Peg Mulqueen
Dates: March 29, 2018 – April 3, 2018
Yoga is about relationships, pure and simple. Though really, as both parents and teachers, Scott and Peg would actually say LIFE is about relationships.
Join Stillpoint Yoga’s Scott Johnson and Ashtanga Dispatch’s Peg Mulqueen for five days of relationship building – with the practice, with nature, and with ourselves – at Scotland’s magical ecoYoga centre. In addition to daily Mysore, Scott and Peg will offer morning meditations and afternoon sessions exploring other mindful aspects of practice – but also taking time to enjoy together the natural beauty and resources the EcoLodge has to offer. Not to mention, meals will be prepared onsite by favorite chef, Emma Rowse from Limehouse Yoga Cornwall.
Oh and since it will be Easter week, word has it Scott is planning an Easter egg hunt. (Of course he is!) Truly this is not a retreat you’ll want to miss.
THE PSYCHOLOGY OF MOVEMENT
As a counselor, it always fascinated Peg how much we can learn about ourselves on the inside by simply watching ourselves from the outside. Discover what your patterns of movement reveal as they show up on your yoga mat and how to bring real change into your life.
WAKING UP TO PRACTICE, WAKING UP TO LIFE
As a mindfulness practitioner and teacher, Scott sees yoga practice as a perfect metaphor for life, and life as practice. Slowing down and seeing these relationships play out equally helps to really wake us up to our lives and choices. A clearer quality of awareness can then open up for us.
